Pixel 11 Pro specs and price: what $1,099 buys

The Pixel 11 Pro costs $1,099 for 256GB with a 5x telephoto and seven years of updates from August 2026. Specs compared with the Pixel 11 and Pro XL.

The Pixel 11 Pro costs $1,099 for 256GB, which is $200 more than the Pixel 11 and $200 less than the Pixel 11 Pro XL. Google lists a 6.3-inch LTPO display, a 48MP 5x telephoto, 12GB of RAM and seven years of updates counted from August 2026. In the US it is eSIM only.

Price and storage

Google announced the Pixel 11 Pro on August 12, 2026 and it reached shelves on August 20, 2026. It launched at $1,099, and the maker listed the same price on October 15, 2026. There has been no price increase.

The storage options are:

  • 256GB at $1,099 with 12GB of RAM
  • 512GB at $1,219 with 16GB of RAM
  • 1TB at $1,449 with 16GB of RAM

The Pixel 11 launched at $899 for 256GB and $1,019 for 512GB. The Pixel 11 Pro XL costs $1,299 for 256GB, $1,419 for 512GB and $1,649 for 1TB.

Screen and size

The Pixel 11 Pro has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED screen at 120Hz. Google lists Smooth Display from 1 to 120Hz, which lets the screen drop its refresh rate when nothing is moving. The Pixel 11 has a 6.3-inch OLED with a 60 to 120Hz range. The Pixel 11 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED.

All three have an IP68 rating. The Pixel 11 Pro weighs 204 g, which is 7 g more than the Pixel 11 at 197 g and 22 g less than the Pro XL at 226 g. Google also lists HiLight notification LEDs on the Pro.

Cameras

Google lists these rear cameras for the Pixel 11 Pro:

  • a 50MP wide
  • a 48MP ultrawide
  • a 48MP 5x telephoto

The Pixel 11 has a 48MP wide, a 13MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto. The Pixel 11 Pro XL has the same three cameras as the Pro.

On paper, then, the extra $200 over the Pixel 11 buys a larger-megapixel ultrawide and telephoto and a 50MP main. The Pro and the Pro XL have the same camera setup, so the XL's extra $200 is for a larger body, not different lenses. We have not used the cameras, so we cannot say how the pictures look.

Chip and battery

All three phones use Google Tensor G6. The Pixel 11 Pro and the Pro XL list 12GB of RAM at 256GB and 16GB at larger sizes, and the Pixel 11 lists 12GB at both of its sizes.

Google lists a typical battery capacity of 4,850 mAh for the Pixel 11 Pro. The Pixel 11 has a typical 4,985 mAh, and the Pixel 11 Pro XL has a typical 5,115 mAh.

That means the smaller Pro has a slightly smaller battery than the cheaper Pixel 11. Google rates all three at 30 or more hours of battery life. Capacity on paper does not tell us how long they last in real use.

Charging

Google states no maximum wired wattage for any of the three. Here is what it says:

  • Pixel 11 Pro: up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W or stronger USB-C PPS charger
  • Pixel 11: up to 55% in about 30 minutes with the same 30W charger
  • Pixel 11 Pro XL: up to 75% in about 30 minutes with a 45W or stronger charger

All three support wireless charging through Pixelsnap (Qi2.2) at up to 25W. If fast charging matters, the XL is the one Google rates fastest.

SIM and carriers

The US Pixel 11 Pro has dual eSIM and no physical SIM. The same is true of the Pixel 11 and the Pro XL. Google lists support for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

This is different from the cheaper Pixel 10a, which has a physical SIM slot. If you have not used an eSIM before, eSIM in the US explains how it works.

Software updates

Google promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for the Pixel 11 Pro. It counts them from first availability on the US Google Store, which Google gives as August 2026, so support runs to about August 2033. Google publishes no exact end date.

The Pixel 11 and the Pro XL carry the same promise. For comparison, see how long phones get updates for every brand.

Is it worth the step up?

The Pixel 11 Pro is the middle option. Over the Pixel 11 it adds a 1 to 120Hz screen, and a higher-megapixel ultrawide and telephoto, for $200 more. It gives up a little battery capacity to do so.

If the cameras and display are not worth $200 to you, our page on the Pixel 11 covers the cheaper phone, and Galaxy S26 vs Pixel 11 puts it against Samsung. To see the full Pixel family, read Pixel 11 vs Pixel 11 Pro.
